Lovers of van-life camping from across the USA gathered in Ponca, November 5 – 7, 2021 for the 3rd annual “Vanarky in the Ozarks” fall campout. The event drew 80 vans and 200 people to BOC’s RV park overlooking the upper Buffalo River wilderness. Open-road van fans traveled from Florida, California and plenty of states in between, including Arkansas.
The fall campout, hosted by Vanarky, featured a robust schedule of activities. Special activities included a guided hike to Big Bluff , a 12V camping seminar, food truck chili supper, vendor tent displays, evening concerts and light shows on the side of BOC’s historic barn. The RV park’s outstanding view was also a big hit with participants.
Campout organizer Candice Kozark says the 2022 calendar of events is still in the planning stages, so be sure to follow Vanarky on Instagram or Facebook for updates.
