Emergency Numbers
Here are emergency numbers we highly recommend you keep on hand whether you’re staying with us for a cabin getaway, enjoying the Buffalo River’s beautiful hiking trails, thrilling to the rush of a zip line adventure, or here for a canoeing, kayaking, or rafting trip. We believe that prepared folks always have the most fun!
Remember: National Park Service campgrounds do NOT have payphones. Also, cell phone service is rarely available on the river. Occasionally you may be able to pick up cell service on the mountain tops, such as the upper elevations of Hwy 43 N above Ponca or Hwy 74 between Ponca and Jasper. If it is an emergency occurring during BOC store hours (8 AM – 6 PM / March – Nov and 8 AM – 5 PM / Dec – Feb), please come immediately to our store, where we can put you in touch with 911 or the sherriff’s office.
