Our tribute cabin to the one, the only Buffalo National River! This beautiful mountain-top cabin rental is just the place to steep yourself in the beauty of the upper Buffalo River wilderness. Whether you’re relaxing on the front porch swing or enjoying a soak in the cabin’s hot tub, the cabin’s 30-mile view across the Ozark Mountain wilderness is simply spectacular. Love starry skies? Our Buffalo River Cabin is the perfect perch for spotting shooting stars – and don’t forget to make a wish to return to Ponca when you spy one!

This fully furnished cabin features a roomy, split-level floor plan, with a King bed on the main floor and a loft with a queen bed and private half-bath.

The Buffalo River Cabin places you within an easy short drive of Ponca’s most popular activities, including hiking the Lost Valley Trail, seasonal elk watching and access to the Buffalo National River. Planning a summer getaway? This cabin is within just a few minutes of our favorite Buffalo River swimming holes!

Bringing a Pet? Please note that a pet fee of $29 per pet, per night is additional to the stated cabin rate.

Motorcycle Guests: Please note that most motorcyclists feel the 1/4-mile maintained gravel road to this cabin is acceptable as long as you travel at a gentle speed.

About Cell Service:

A cell service signal may be available at this cabin some of the time.

About Wifi:

All cabins are equipped with complimentary WiFi. Please note that WiFi is a free service and due to our secluded area, may not always be the most dependable due to circumstances beyond our control.

Hot Tubs:

All hot tubs are drained and cleaned regularly. Please allow 4-6 hours for the hot tub to heat properly.

Dark Sky:

Take advantage of the dark skies – this cabin is perfectly located to stargaze.

Secluded Cabin:

This cabin is secluded and private from neighbors.

This is a Pet-Friendly Cabin!

Pets are welcome in this cabin, with a $29 + tax charge per night, per pet. Two pets maximum, please! And don’t forget to pick up your Pet Kit upon arrival, which includes dog treats, a sleep sheet and waste bags.

Pet Etiquette:

In consideration of future guests, some of whom may have pet allergies, please do not permit your pet to sleep or lounge on a bed or furniture. Also, please keep your pet on a leash at all times when outside the cabin. Pets must be crated when left alone in a cabin. Thank you for picking up pet waste (with the bags provided upon check-in) in the cabin’s yard and disposing of it in the outside trash can prior to departure.

About Tents & Campfires:

Tents, RVs and campfires are not permitted on cabin grounds. For an RV site, please visit our RV Park page.

Smoking:

Smoking is not permitted inside the cabin. Please smoke outside and discard butts in the receptacle provided.
