Buffalo Outdoor Center Receives Arkansas Business of the Year Award

Arkansas Business has named Buffalo Outdoor Center as recipient of its Arkansas Business of the Year Award for a company with 25 or less employees.  The award was presented at a banquet of over 800 business men and women at the Arkansas State House Convention Center on Tuesday evening, February 26, 2013.

Mike Mills, founder and president of Buffalo Outdoor Center, accepted the award and shared the following thoughts with the crowd:

BOC was one of five nominated companies in the Category 1 Division, all of which received recognition at the event for their ongoing success and contributing role in Arkansas’ thriving business economy.  The two other category winners were All-Clean USA of Jonesboro (26-75 employees) and Tankersley Food Service of Van Buren (76-300 employees).

We’d like to thank Arkansas Business and the panel of independent judges challenged with selecting only three recipients from the field of 15 quality, highly respected Arkansas companies who were nominated.  We feel so honored for a business from the tiny town of Ponca to have been recognized, as we know the one, the only Buffalo National River also shares in that recognition.
