Trip Highlights

Geology Lovers this is the Trail for You

This trail offers a great history lesson in Arkansas geology. The natural erosion that has been shaping the Ozark Mountains for centuries is on full display along this trail. Over time weathering along the bluff has formed unique rock formations called Pedestals.

Photographers on the Trail

Photographers will love the unique rock formations, caves, big views, waterfalls, and everything else about this scenic area. The Pedestal Rocks trail offers some nice views for sunrise and the Kings Bluff trail has several spectacular spots for sunset.

Use Caution

A large amount of the trail hugs a bluff line and in areas there are even holes in the bluff above caves. Please use caution while visiting the bluffs, especially if you have children with you.
